I am incredibly proud to be the Liberal Democrat councillor for Grappenhall & Appleton Thorn. I was born in Warrington and have lived in Grappenhall for most of my life. As such I am immensely passionate about the villages and my home town. I often comment that I am ever so lucky to be representing two of the best villages in the country!
In the four years since first being elected to the Borough Council I have worked hard to speak out for residents on the issues most affecting our lives and futures. In particular I have been a vocal campaigner on planning issues, fighting to protect our Green Belt and ensure we get the right homes, in the right places, with the right jobs and the right infrastructure. I have also worked to get signficant investment into our parks and open spaces.
As well as being the Borough Councillor for Grappenhall & Appleton Thorn, I have also been a Parish Councillor since 2012, serving as the Chair of Grappenhall & Thelwall Parish Council in 2016/17. I also stood as the Parliamentary Candidate for Warrington South in the 2019 General Election.
